LSM Pumper ApS has developed a new linear hose pump for transporting larger fish as an alternative to vacuum pump system.
Target group is primarily salmon/trout producers, both sea- and land-based farming as well as larger fishing industries. Today, mariculture-based salmon farming is the largest, but every year the number of land-based fish farms (RAS) – Recirculation Aquaculture Systems - increases.
It is possible to achieve energy savings of 75-80% (100 kW vacuum pump can be replaced by 20 kW hose pump).
Significant advantage is the stress free and safe transfer and therefore growth cycle not interrupted
